We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially, in accordance with the GDPR and this privacy policy. This website uses no analytics, no marketing cookies and no tracking. Personal data is processed only where you actively provide it: when you start a practice session with the AI avatar, or when you join the early list with your email address.
When you start a session, we process the first name you enter, your microphone audio and the conversation transcript. This data is used solely to run the live conversation and to show you your session summary. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give by starting a session and allowing microphone access in your browser. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by ending the session.
The live avatar conversation is operated by HeyGen (LiveAvatar), 12130 Millennium Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90094, USA, which processes audio and transcripts on our behalf as a processor. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details: https://www.heygen.com/privacy-policy
The avatar you talk to is a consented synthetic likeness of a real teacher. You are always informed that you are talking to an AI, not a live person.
If you join the early list, we store your email address and your chosen role (student or teacher) in order to contact you about the launch of tutwin.ai and your founding discount. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). You can request deletion from the list at any time by emailing kontakt@seo-revolution.com.
This website is served through Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which acts as a content delivery network and security filter between your browser and our server. Cloudflare may process technical connection data (such as IP address, browser type and time of access) for this purpose. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Unless a more specific period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose of the processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for retaining it.
You have the right to free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data at any time, and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Where processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; for us that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
This site uses TLS encryption. We point out that data transmission on the internet (for example email communication) can have security gaps; complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
